We offer free cash advances. Simply visit one of our branch locations and present a valid Visa® credit card along with a valid ID.
Non-members are limited to $3,000 max on cash advances.
Members may also get a cash advance on their Visa credit card at a Freedom ATM or shared branch. For out-of-network, fees may apply.
We offer the following types of transfers:
You can transfer funds instantly and free of charge between any of your Freedom Accounts via online banking, by calling Telephone Teller at 215-612-5919 and entering 8 #, by contacting our Call Center at 215-612-5900, and at most ATMs which have transfer features — note: it does not have to be a Freedom ATM (See Surcharge-free ATMs).
You can send money from your Freedom Account to another financial institution at a cost of
- $10 (Domestic)
- $30 (Foreign)
Unlike most banks, Freedom offers a way to transfer funds between any two member's accounts. This convenient service is FREE and can be accessed via online banking, by calling Telephone Teller at 215-612-5919 and entering 8 #, visiting one of our branch locations, or contact us.
Transfer Payments to Freedom Loans and Lines
Freedom makes it easy for you to pay your bills by simply transferring funds from one of your Accounts to your existing loans and lines. Your payment will instantly be transferred for free and you will be able to see your next payment amount and due date. Take advantage of this convenient service via Online Banking, Mobile Banking, by calling Telephone Teller at 215-612-5919 and entering 8 #, or by visiting one of our branch locations or any branch within the Shared Branching Network.
Do you need to stop payment on a check you have written or a payment you have scheduled?
Members can place an instant stop payment on a Freedom check, free of charge, through Online Banking or by calling Telephone Teller at 215-612-5919 and entering 6 #. For a fee of $5.00, you can place a stop payment by contacting the Call Center at 215-612-5900 or visiting one of our six branch locations. Please note that stop payments are valid for 6 months.
If you would like to stop a Recurring Check Card purchase, you can call the credit union at 215-612-5900 prior to the payment's authorization. After an attempt is made to stop the transaction with the merchant, you can stop the transaction with Freedom by completing an Affidavit, which can be obtained from the credit union.
You cannot place a stop payment on an electronic Bill Payer item once it has been sent. If you are a Bill Payer user, you can check with Freedom to see if the payment has been sent — if not, you can change or cancel it at that time.
Simply choose from one of the options below to order your new supply, which you should receive in 5-7 business days:
- Access online banking, select Share Draft Reorder from the menu, and follow the instructions given there
- Contact Freedom's Call Center at 215-612-5900 and place your order with a Member Services Representative
- Visit one of our branch locations and place your order with a Freedom teller
- Contact us with your order
In the event that emergency checks are needed, Members can visit any Freedom branch to pick up a small supply of generic checks until their new order is received. Please contact us for details.
