Freedom and the Montgomery County Intermediate Congratulate the 2008 Voices of InspirationSM Award Finalists
Freedom Credit Union and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit would like to congratulate the 2008 Voices of Inspiration Award Finalists. After receiving 759 nominations for its 2008 Annual Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching Excellence, the Voices of Inspiration Selection Committee chose 23 nominees; one teacher from each of the twenty-one Montgomery County public school districts, one teacher from the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, and one teacher from a Montgomery County non-public school. Click here to view the nominees from each district.
These exceptional educators were selected as finalists based on nominations submitted by students, parents, co-workers, administrators, and school employees on their behalf.
The twenty-three finalists will receive $500 and be recognized at Freedom’s Voices of Inspiration Awards banquet. From these twenty-three finalists, three winners (one high school, one middle school, and one elementary school teacher) will be awarded with Freedom’s “Voices of Inspiration” Award and given an additional $1500.
Initiated in 2007 by Freedom Credit Union, in partnership with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, the Voices of Inspiration Award honors and celebrates the contributions of these educators.
