Line of Credit / Overdraft Loan

Overdraft Protection is recommended for anyone with a Freedom Credit Union Checking Account.  If you miscalculate the amount of money you have available for a check, or if you just don't have enough in your account to cover a check, Overdraft Protection will PROTECT you from the cost and embarrassment of bouncing that check.

With Overdraft Protection, you get an approved Line of Credit that will cover your checks when you do not have sufficient funds in your account.  This Line of Credit is also a great way to get cash or make purchases without paying high credit card interest rates and annual fees. With a Line of Credit you pay nothing until you use your funds, and you only pay interest on the amount you utilize.

It costs you nothing to establish your Line of Credit, and when you use it, you are only charged interest on the amount you borrow.  So even if you never use your Line of Credit, you will feel safe knowing that you have extra cash at your fingertips for emergencies or personal needs.

You can apply for a Line of Credit up to $20,000, and your money is accessible 24 hours a day with an FCU ATM or Visa Check Card, through your Checking Account or by calling Telephone Teller or FCU.
