Download from Online Banking to MoneyÓ or QuickenÓ

Download to MoneyÓ

  1. Open Microsoft Money.
  2. Open your Internet browser.
  3. Sign on to FCU Online Banking.
  4. Click on the "Account Information" button.
  5. From the series of buttons that appears beneath, click on the "Account History" button.
  6. Select the account you wish to download. i.e. S1, S2, S3, S4, etc.
  7. Select the period that you wish to download. i. e. Recent Transactions, June, July, etc.
  8. Click on the "export" icon (picture of a floppy disk).
  9. Go into Microsoft Money. The "Choose a Money Account" box should appear with the following information:
    • Type of Information: QIF Statement
    • Type of Account: Unknown Account Type
    • Account Number: Select the Money Account that you wish your FCU account information to be downloaded to. (If you have not set one up, click the "New" button and follow instructions to set one up).
  10. Click "Next".
  11. The message "You have 1 statement to read" should appear.
  12. Click on the underlined name of the account that you just downloaded your FCU information to.
  13. Follow the instructions to balance your account.
  14. Click "Done" when finished.

Download to QuickenÓ

  1. Sign into Online Banking.
  2. Open the FCU share (regular savings, checking, etc.) you wish to download.
  3. Select the period that you wish to download. (Recent Transactions, June, July, etc.)
  4. Click on the disk icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen (below the "EXIT" button). A window will appear, asking if you wish to save the file to a disk; click OK.
  5. Select the location on your hard drive or on a separate floppy disk where you wish to save the file. Rename the file if you wish. Click SAVE. The file will be saved as a .qif file.
  6. Open Quicken, select the account you wish to have the downloaded information sent into. (If you do not have this account set up in Quicken, select NEW from the FILE menu and follow the instructions for creating a new Quicken account.)
  7. From the FILE menu, select IMPORT. From the window that appears, select the .qif file you just exported. Click OK.
  8. Double-check the transactions that appear to make sure they are correct. Add any information you wish to the memo fields.
  9. The next time you import information into this account, be sure to save a different time period from Online Banking. If you import transactions from the same time period into this file, Quicken may not recognize them as the same transactions. You may have duplicates, which will affect your final totals.
