ATM Privileges

FCU is one of the few financial institutions directly "online" with STAR. With our "online" capability, your account is instantly updated to STAR, so you won't have to worry about processing delays.

Withdraw Cash when and where you need it, up to $500 per day.  With a Freedom Credit Union ATM or Visa check card you can avoid carrying around large sums of cash that could get lost or stolen.  We encourage you to seek out non-surcharging ATMs such as those in the PA Credit Union network.  In addition to these surcharge-free ATMs, FCU members can make unlimited free withdrawals at the following FCU-owned automated teller machines:

Deposit Funds from any Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, or Delaware ATM machine that accepts deposits to other financial institutions.  Funds can be deposited to either your Savings or Checking Accounts.

Transfer Funds between your FCU accounts without having to complete separate deposit and withdrawal transactions.

Get a Cash Advance for up to $500 per day on your FCU approved Line of Credit and any other credit accounts which might become available.

Make Loan Payments by depositing funds into your Savings account and calling Telephone Teller to transfer those funds to make your loan payment.

Use your Card for Purchases at any retail location that displays the STAR POINT OF SALE logo.  Signature-based Visa Check Card transactions - those in which you sign a receipt to complete the purchase - are FREE, UNLIMITED,and give you the following added benefits:

• Safety - There's no need to carry your checkbook or large amounts of cash.
• Widely accepted - Use your card everywhere that Visa Check Cards are accepted.
• Protection - Visa cards offer Zero Liability against unauthorized transactions, including online purchases.
